Overview of the D2 Business Visa

The Business Multiple Entry Visa (D2) is Indonesia’s official visa designed for foreign nationals who need to make frequent business trips to Indonesia. This visa allows you to enter and exit the country multiple times within its validity period, making it ideal for professionals managing regional operations, attending meetings, or maintaining partnerships in Bali and across Indonesia.

With this visa, you can remain in Indonesia for up to 60 days per entry, with multiple entries allowed throughout its overall validity.

⚠️ Important: The D2 visa does not permit employment or earning income in Indonesia. It is strictly for non-salaried business activities.

The D2 Business Visa is designed to facilitate frequent business visits to Indonesia. It is ideal for:

Extension Possibility

The D2 visa itself is not extendable beyond its maximum validity.
Travelers may exit and re-enter Indonesia multiple times during the visa validity.
For longer continuous stays, other visas such as the C2 Single Entry Business Visa may be more suitable.

⚠️ Overstay penalty: IDR 1,000,000 per day. Serious overstays can result in deportation and blacklisting.

Essential Documentation

To apply for the D2 Business Visa, you must prepare the following:

Passport that is valid for at least 6 (six) months.
Proof of living expenses of at least US$ 2,000 (two thousand United States Dollars) or equivalent.
A recent color photograph.
Any of the following documents:
- Information, invitations, or correspondence from government agencies or private institutions that Explain the relationship with the Applicant. Or
- Statement letter from the spouse or parents explaining the family relationship with the applicant and the activities to be carried out in Indonesia, attached with a family card / similar document.
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Travel Itinerary.
