    Essential Documentation for Extension Visa On Arrival (E-VOA)

    To apply for an E-VOA / B1 Visa Extension, you must prepare the following documents:

    • Original passport (valid for at least 6 months, with at least 2 blank pages)
    • E-VOA approval or VOA receipt (depending on how the visa was obtained)
    • Return or onward flight ticket (showing departure before your final visa expiry date)
    • Recent color photograph (passport-size, if requested by Immigration)
    • Visit the Immigration Office to have your formal photo taken.

    💡 Depending on your nationality and local Immigration Office, additional documents may be requested.

    Visa Extensions Information

    • The Visa On Arrival (E-VOA / B1) is initially valid for 30 days.
    • It can be extended once for an additional 30 days, bringing the total stay to 60 days maximum.
    • The extension must be applied for before the initial 30 days expire.
    • After 60 days, you must exit Indonesia.

    ⚠️ Overstay Warning: Overstaying costs IDR 1,000,000 per day and may result in deportation or blacklisting.

    Extension Processing Time

    • Standard processing time: 5–14 working days at the Immigration Office
    • Express processing (through an agent): 3–5 working days

    💡 It’s recommended to apply 7–10 days before your visa expires to avoid last-minute issues.

    Note

    • The VOA/E-VOA extension is not convertible to another visa type inside Indonesia.
    • If you need a longer stay (beyond 60 days), you must exit and reapply for a different visa category, such as the B211A Single Entry Visa.
    • Immigration offices in Bali (Denpasar, Jimbaran, Singaraja) can process extensions, but processing times may vary.
