It allows you to stay in Indonesia legally for the duration of your internship program, while ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.

⚠️ Important: The C22 Internship Visa does not allow paid employment or income-generating work. It is strictly for educational, cultural, and training purposes.

Visa duration: Up to 60 – 180 days depending on the internship program approval
Stay per entry: Continuous stay for the visa’s duration (single entry)
Entry type: Single entry (the visa becomes invalid if you exit Indonesia before its expiry)

Extension Possibility

The C22 Internship Visa can sometimes be extended depending on program approval, but not beyond 180 days total.
For longer training or employment opportunities, applicants should transition to a work permit (KITAS/IMTA).

⚠️ Overstay penalty: IDR 1,000,000 per day. Prolonged overstays may result in deportation and blacklisting.

Applicable Activities

This visa is suitable for:

Essential Documentation

Passport valid for at least 6 (six) months (for holders of travel documents other than passports such as emergency passports, documents of identity, etc. must be valid for 12 months).
Personal bank statement the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
Latest color photograph.
Proof of guarantee from the guarantor
Internship contract or statement from government agency or private institution as the host of the internship program

💡 Depending on nationality, Indonesian Immigration may request additional supporting documents.
