The KITAP (Kartu Izin Tinggal Tetap) is Indonesia’s Permanent Stay Permit, designed for foreigners who wish to live long-term in Bali or elsewhere in Indonesia. Unlike a KITAS, which is temporary, the KITAP provides extended residency rights of up to 5 years per renewal and is the highest type of residence status available for foreign nationals.

KITAP holders may:
