This visa provides flexibility to research potential ventures, meet with local partners, and prepare your investment plan in Bali or elsewhere in Indonesia, without the immediate requirement of a PT PMA or company incorporation.

Purpose

The purpose of the C12 Visa is to allow foreigners to conduct pre-investment activities, such as business research, market analysis, or feasibility studies.

Validity

The C12 Visa is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
Each stay under this visa is limited to a maximum of 180 consecutive days per entry.

Extension Possibility

The C12 Visa is not extendable beyond the 12-month maximum validity.
Once it expires, you must apply for a new visa outside Indonesia if you wish to continue pre-investment activities.

Holders of a Pre-Investment Visa (C12) may:

The C12 Visa is generally valid for 12 months, but it cannot be extended once issued.
Each stay is limited to 180 days per entry; you must exit and re-enter Indonesia for longer stays within the validity period.
After the 12-month validity ends, you must apply for a new visa if you wish to continue your pre-investment stay.
