Family Union KITAS (KITAS Penyatuan Keluarga)

The E31 Family KITAS in Indonesia is the updated version of the C317 Family/Spouse KITAS, based on the latest index.

      1. E31A – Spouse of Indonesian Citizen (1 or 2 Years): For spouses of Indonesian citizens, officially recognized by the Ministry of Home Affairs of Indonesia or an Indonesian Mission.
      2. E31B – Spouse Visa (1, 2, 5, or 10 Years): For individuals who are the spouse of someone holding a Limited Stay Permit (KITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit (KITAP).
      3. E31C – Child of Indonesian Citizen (1 or 2 Years): For children from a legal marriage where one parent is an Indonesian citizen, recognized by the Ministry of Home Affairs of Indonesia or the Indonesian Mission.
      4. E31D – Child of Foreigners (1 or 2 Years): For children of foreign nationals who are legally married to Indonesian citizens.
      5. E31E – Child Visa (1, 2, 5, or 10 Years): For unmarried children under 18 years old whose parents hold KITAS or Permanent Stay Permits (KITAP).
      6. E31F – Legally Recognized Child (1 or 2 Years): For children legally related to their Indonesian father and/or mother, as established by an Indonesian court.
      7. E31G – Foreign Parents Reuniting with Indonesian Citizen Child (1 or 2 Years): For foreign parents intending to reunite with their adult child (aged 21 or older) who is an Indonesian citizen.
      8. E31H – Foreign Parents Reuniting with Child Holding KITAS/KITAP (1, 2, 5, or 10 Years): For foreign parents intending to reunite with their adult child holding either a Limited Stay Permit (KITAS) or a Permanent Stay Permit (KITAP).

      Purpose
The purpose of the family KITAS visa is to allow family members of the primary KITAS holder to reside with them in Indonesia. This visa is designed to support family reunification and provides legal residence permits for spouses and children.

      Validity
The validity of the family KITAS visa typically aligns with the validity of the primary KITAS holder’s visa, allowing family members to stay in Indonesia for the same duration. This period can range from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the type of KITAS.

      Extension Possibility

The family KITAS visa can typically be extended along with the primary KITAS holder’s visa. Extensions are possible for the same duration as the original visa, ensuring family members can continue to reside in Indonesia legally.
